Methodology

We follow a clear process for testing and classifying aesthetic font styles. This page explains our approach.

Unicode Mapping

Each style maps standard letters to Unicode characters. We verify every mapping against the Unicode standard.

We check that mapped characters exist in the correct Unicode block. We verify they represent the intended letter.

Style Classification

We classify styles by category and mood. Categories include typography and aesthetic. Moods include soft, cute, gothic, and more.

Classification helps users find styles that match their content. Browse by category in our font directory.

Compatibility Testing

We test each style on multiple platforms:

We rate compatibility as high, moderate, or limited based on test results.

Browser Testing

We test on Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. We check both desktop and mobile browsers.

We verify that characters render correctly across browser versions.

Platform Testing

We test on real devices with real apps. We check iOS, Android, and desktop platforms.

We note any platform-specific issues in our style descriptions.

Accessibility Testing

We check how Unicode text interacts with screen readers. Some characters may be read differently.

We recommend normal text for important content. Use aesthetic fonts for decoration only.

Content Review

All content is original. We do not copy or rewrite competitor text.

We review articles regularly. We update them when information changes.
